The world is currently going through the second wave of the lethal COVID-19 Pandemic. CoronaVirus cases are ballooning in number once again and we are losing precious lives with each passing day. Many officials have vociferously spoken about the urgent need to come together and save as many lives as possible. For this, enhancement in the medical infrastructure is vital. Healthcare workers, especially paramedics are one of the most important components of the healthcare system of any nation. They form the plinth stone on which lies the strong foundation of the healthcare system.

At Grameen Pragati Foundation we consider it our prime responsibility and our utmost duty to respond to this need and come forward to provide help in whatever way possible. We hope to play a part to strengthen the foundation of our nation’s healthcare system by recruiting as many medical warriors as we can by enrolling a maximum number of paramedics / healthcare workers and aligning them with local hospitals and healthcare institutions.

Activities: During the pandemic, Grameen Pragati Foundation has helped in various ways by donating medicines, PPE Kits, etc. We have come a long way and our current aim remains providing aid in fighting COVID-19 by appointing paramedics and healthcare workers. Enrolling more tertiary care providers will not only help the hospitals in tackling this virus but will also play a pivotal role in bringing down the rising numbers. In 2020, GPF distributed Arsenic Album 30 medicine veils.

Impact/Outcome: The Arsenic Album 30 medicine veils proved to boost immunity and helped frontline workers since the outbreak of the Pandemic. There was a heavy inflow of human traffic which travels in Western Maharashtra for Ganeshotsav. As a precautionary measure, we tried to ensure family immunity via these medicines to combat Covid-19.
