Covid-19 is an unanticipated pandemic that the world is dealing with. People are finding themselves helpless with each passing day with nowhere to go. What comprises of basic needs now appear far gone with necessities now transforming into luxury. To make ends meet and provide people with primary essentials for survival, Grameen Pragati Foundation has taken up the initiative to distribute dry ration supplements that include cooking oil, rice grains and various other fundamental products.  This activity was conducted in association with Mr.Shriniwas from Hyderabad. The organization has been consistently working with sheer determination to satiate hunger needs of the population in the urban slum pockets of Hyderabad, Telangana. A mammoth group of people took advantage of this set up and also followed precautionary guidelines provided by us to prevent the spread of the virus.

An unprecedented future lies before us. Such times demand for unity and compassion in helping the less privileged. There is an ugly reality out there which has been inflicted due to the lockdown and quarantine. People are starving and probably would adhere to anything for a morsel of food.
